I cant find the button that allows me to name my layers in gimp, I have 2.6 and I read its under the Layers dialog but it isnt there. Can anyone help?How do I name a layer in Gimp photo editor?
Make a new picture. See the ';Background'; label next to the first one that pops up? Just double click on the word, and it should let you type in whatever you want. The same goes for all other layers.
There's no specific button. I don't know where that would have come from...
