Rubik's Cube algorithms to orient the top layer?

I am trying to use a different quicker general algorithm for this step rather than R`FR`2BRF`R2B2R. I need some help here. Thanks for any information.Rubik's Cube algorithms to orient the top layer?
ok are you talking about orienting the top layer middle wedges or the corners.


after your done with 2 layers u may either get:


1. a dot on the top


2. an inverted L


3. A line


4.A cross


from dot to L algo: F,R,U,Ri,Ui,Fi


from L to line algo: R,U,Ri,U,R,U,U,Ri


line to cross algo: F,R,U,Ri,Ui,Fi


once u got ur cross just align the middle wedges(at least 2 must be solved) one correct middle wedge as your right phase and the other as your back face then: R,U,Ri,U,Ri,U,R,U,U,Ri


then jus solve your corners


ALgo: U,R,Ui,Li,U,Ri,Ui,L until all the corners are in the right place then to solve the corners just use Ri,Di,R,D algo if i didnt answer your question let me know cos i didnt get what you meant
